In India Construction Sector is a vast & wide sector. In this sector construction of Residential Buildings / Multistoried Apartments, Offices, Factories, Shopping Malls, Schools / Colleges, Hospitals, Hotels follows. In Infrastructure development construction of Roads, Railway Tracks, Airports, Dams, Canals, is being done etc.
Development in any sector requires construction. This sector needs a large amount of skilled Manpower. These skilled people will have different career opportunities of High Salaries but requirement is that you should have necessary skill for work.
Indian Government has started the Skill Development Programme under which 500 Million Peoples to be trained as Skilled Manpower.Out of this 70 million will from Construction Sector.

भारत सरकारने कौशल्य विकास कार्यक्रम सुरु केला असून या कार्यक्रमांतर्गत सुमारे ५० कोटी कुशल मनुष्यबळ १५ वर्षामध्ये निर्माण करण्याचे उदिष्ट आहे.यापैकी ७ कोटी फक्त बांधकामक्षेत्रातील मनुष्यबळ असणार आहे.
Today there is need of multiskilled persons in this sector. Ex. Person having both, drawing skills on computer & site supervision skill is preferred than persons having only one skill as above.
